Limited Edition Lunar Globes

The Al Worden Collection by The Little Globe Company is a limited edition of exquisite, palm-sized lunar globes, molyneux globes and porcelain wall reliefs mapping the topography of Moon.

This collection has been created to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Landings.


About the Little Globe Collection

Artist Loraine Rutt and Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden officially announced their collaboration at New Scientist Live in October 2019.

Apollo Lunar Pocket Globe


Limited edition of 50

7.5 cm diameter
Scale 1: 46 320,000

This globe has gold spots marking the Apollo landing sites.
It is presented in an elegant American Walnut case 9.5cm.
The case interior is lined with hand-painted facsimile of the celestial chart Al Worden used to navigate back from the moon.

Apollo Lunar Modern Molyneux

Limited edition of 20

15 cm diameter
Scale 1:23 160,000

This globe has gold spots marking the Apollo Landing sites.
It is presented on a free-standing acrylic frame. The meridian ring is etched with the names and dates of all the Apollo Astronauts and Al Worden’s EVA location sketch.

Topographical Reliefs of Apollo Landing Sites

Limited edition of 20

40 x 40 x 5cm

These topographical porcelain wall reliefs are mounted on board and are topographical reliefs of the Apollo landing sites.

Each numbered edition has been endorsed with a certificate signed by Al Worden.

About Loraine Rutt

Artist and cartographer Loraine Rutt has been making maps from clay for over 25 years. The inspiration for her ceramic cartography comes from the 18th and 19th Century pocket globes and the extraordinary photograph of the Earth ‘Blue Marble’ taken during the Apollo missions.
